its missing some of its own files gem is asking for own .cpp files of the code the code is not posible to compile now Gem is no multiplatform , sadly.

gem-bin-<gemver>.zip :: DOS-binary (containing a single file "Gem.dll")

Is there somone working on that ? If one one does, I can take a look. I think I stll have a project on my machine that builds, but I can only check Monday.

this is plain wrong.
a) GEM actively supports Windos, linux and mac-OS so if one of these fails, it is still multiplatform
b) i compiled GEM yesterday on windows
btw, it would be great if bug-reports were more eloquent than "could not find files"

indeed, the link is dead. i haven't found someone to compile GEM under DOS, so i had to do it myself. and here it is, alive again: http://gem.iem.at/download/
