Initial Comment: The help patch for pix_snap says: "pix_snap works best with single buffered windows". What does it mean? What are exactly its limitations or known issues with double buffered windows?

Message: thanks for your bug-report. it seems that you have already found out what "best" means: in single buffered mode, the buffer you are snapping usually has already some content, whereas in double-buffered mode it is mostly empty (unless you just draw something to it).
therefore i tag this issue as "duplicate", as it is basically the same as #3292406 (though from a different pov)
