** [bugs:#236] [pix_film] video delayed by one frame**
**Status:** open **OS:** w32 **Release:** 0.94 **Labels:** pix_film **Created:** Thu Sep 25, 2014 06:53 PM UTC by Anonymous **Last Updated:** Thu Sep 25, 2014 06:53 PM UTC **Owner:** nobody
Hello,
i'm building a live visualisation for my band using 2 different videos (a calm and a more activating video). In my patch, i switch between the two videos. When i switch inside the video, everything seems to be fine, BUT when i switch between the vids, it comes clear, that there's something buggy in the GEM video chain: it uses the last videoframe before it shows the frame that it should use. E.g. i tell to show frame 1, then i tell to show frame 2 and now it shows frame 1. i tell to show frame 3, then it shows frame 2. i tell to show frame 100, then it shows frame 3.
In the patch attached, please load two videos (step 1 and 2), create a window and start (step 3) and then switch between the two videos (step 4 and 5 and 4 and 5) to see, what i mean.
OS: Win 8.1 64 bit PD 0.43.4-extended with shipped GEM AMD E-450 APU Laptop
Greetings, Thomas
