Doh, seems I need the menubar hiding code too...
I tried compiling on the other OSX machine (since the first one is only downloading a portion of the developer tools, after many tries) I guess there are not any apple mirrors for the Xcode stuff...
So compiling fails with:
g++ -c -fPIC -g -O2 -freg-struct-return -O3 -fno-builtin -falign-loops=16 -funroll-loops -ffast-math -faltivec -I.. GemPixImageLoad.cpp -o GemPixImageLoad.o GemPixConvertAltivec.cpp: In function `void YUV422_to_YV12_altivec(short int*, short int*, short int*, short int*, unsigned char*, int, int)': GemPixConvertAltivec.cpp:637: error: no instance of overloaded builtin function `vec_sl' matches the parameter list GemPixConvertAltivec.cpp:638: error: no instance of overloaded builtin function `vec_sl' matches the parameter list GemPixConvertAltivec.cpp:644: error: no instance of overloaded builtin function `vec_sl' matches the parameter list GemPixConvertAltivec.cpp:645: error: no instance of overloaded builtin function `vec_sl' matches the parameter list GemPixConvertAltivec.cpp:646: error: no instance of overloaded builtin function `vec_sl' matches the parameter list GemPixConvertAltivec.cpp:647: error: no instance of overloaded builtin function `vec_sl' matches the parameter list make[1]: *** [GemPixConvertAltivec.o] Error 1 make[1]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... make: *** [Base] Error 2
This is on a dual g5 2ghz 10.3.9 machine.
I hope someone has a binary I can use... This project is supposed to be presented on thursday.
Thanks all,

Thanks Chris,
So its a new object, anyone have a G5 Gem binary that includes gemlist_info I can use?
I tried both binaries on tigital's mac homepage, but I can get neither
to
load in PD. (no errors, just "can't load library") I'm running 10.3.9...
Thanks, .b.

Hey all, If I have a bunch of rotate and translate objects in a single chain,
is there a way I can get the resultant absolute XYZ position of the center of the object? (XYZ orientation would be good too)
I guess something like pix_info but for the tranformation/rotation
matrix...
