OK, done with the 0.42 but it is impossible to have 'use PLUGINS' for image-support :
no problem, configure is simply not very helpful and doesn't print the line "image-support: use PLUGINS: yes" with current SVN, the only way to get image loading is via plugins (so there is no "use PLUGINS: no")
OK.
And after make, i get this error :
gem_imageMAGICK.so: creating convenience link make[4]: *** [convenience-link] Error 1
that's a bit more mysterious to me. i have checked in some minor changes which might help debugging the issues. please do an svn update and try again.
I ge the same error :
make[3]: Entering directory `/home/bernd/RYBN/pd-gem/trunk/Gem/src/plugins' Making all in imageMAGICK make[4]: Entering directory `/home/bernd/RYBN/pd-gem/trunk/Gem/src/plugins/imageMAGICK' gem_imageMAGICK.so: creating convenience link from /.libs to ../../.. make[4]: *** [convenience-link] Error 1 make[4]: Leaving directory `/home/bernd/RYBN/pd-gem/trunk/Gem/src/plugins/imageMAGICK' make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/bernd/RYBN/pd-gem/trunk/Gem/src/plugins' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/bernd/RYBN/pd-gem/trunk/Gem/src' make[1]: *** [all] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/bernd/RYBN/pd-gem/trunk/Gem/src' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
another wild guess: which filesystem are you compiling on?
/dev/sda1 on / type ext3 (rw,relatime,errors=remount-ro) proc on /proc type proc (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev) /sys on /sys type sysfs (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev) varrun on /var/run type tmpfs (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,mode=0755) varlock on /var/lock type tmpfs (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,mode=1777) udev on /dev type tmpfs (rw,mode=0755) devshm on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw) devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620) /dev/sdb on /disk1 type ext3 (rw) /dev/sdc on /disk2 type ext3 (rw) gvfs-fuse-daemon on /home/bernd/.gvfs type fuse.gvfs-fuse-daemon (rw,nosuid,nodev,user=bernd)
Is it what you are looking for (i use '$ mount') ? Thanx for your help. ++
