Using the patch 05.movie.pd and the pix_movie-help.pd in Pd-0.39.3-extended and Pd-0.40.3-extended-2007-11-27, I get strange colors strobing over the videos that are playing. See attached screenshots to get an idea of what they look like.
pix_film seems to work fine.
This is on a MacBook Pro 17" 3rd gen running 10.4.11. This was happening before on 10.4.10 also.
