vlc read it correctly. but the ubuntu player does not. right click + property on the file give a file dim of 1024x384. could you try to download this file :

hmm, i don't have ubuntu; i am using debian with kde; right-clicking in konqueror and selecting properties doesn't give me any video-related info. all players (vlc, mplayer, [pix_film], lqt-play) play it fine with 1024x768.
