That's strange, the patch is failing to apply. Did you download a different version of gmerlin-avdec and put it into the /sw/src/gmerlin-avdecoder-1.1.0.tar.gz?

well yes, but in that case Gem should not try to access the video stream 0, thus preventing a crash...

is it possible for you to get back to the state where the crash happened? so we can make work with gmerlin even if it was compiled without libmpeg2 support...
