Hey Hans++,
I'm happy to see debs in the nightly builds!!! yay!!!
One question though, have the debs been properly updated? As in etch is stable?
I think it would make more sense to use the proper names on debian, so we have an idea of exactly what distro they are for, even when a testing turns to stable (suddenly).
So I'm assuming they are up to date and "stable" means etch!!
Thanks. B. Bogart
Yes, they are up to date. I was wondering which name newbies would find easier to understand. In Debian, I think the words "stable" and "testing" are used more. In Ubuntu, the names are more important. That's why I named them that way.

I'm curious about other's opinions...
True they seem to use the "stable" etc.. for example if your search for debian packages. I suppose debian does not release often enough for it to be a real problem, but perhaps since the files are archived, "stable" could be referring to something different than it currently means.
I submitted a bug about the 0.40 deb I tried, 0.39 worked like a charm.
No icon though, which would be nice since there is a nice one...
Also the new "10" fontsize looks a bit small for 10, more like 8... But since its consistent I'm happy!!
Thanks for the effort Hans!

The icon is included, and eventually works, from what I've seen. For some reason, it doesn't always show up at first. Perhaps there is some kind of icon databse rebuild that needs to happen.
If you have some time, you could debug it. Also, it would be awesome to have working file associations with that package out-of-box. The icon stuff is in packages/linux_make/pd-extended.desktop, I think the file association stuff would be handled there too.
