Hey all,
I've come accross a need for a prepend with "set" message to over-ride the creation argument.
I was using the flext prepend until now.
So the question is, what prepend should I use so that when a prepend gets added to pd proper my patches are still compatible?
Also I see prepend in cylcone and cxc, but I do not need the library only the single external!
Could someone send me a makefile to compile cyclone or cxc prepend as a single external? or an OSX binary for any prepend that has a "set" functionality?
too many libs!
(PS: chaos will soon compile not as a lib, but again as a set of seperate externals.)
Thanks all, Ben

Whatever prepend I'm using now (?) does support the "set" message.
I retract my request.
Sorry of wasting the bandwidth.

You're using Cyclone prepend. There is no flext-prepend anymore, it's called prepend2, at least in CVS. The only other prepend widely in use is in iemlib.

FYI: the build system uses the [prepend] from cyclone.

Yeah, I know, and this has saved me many support questions regarding memento. ;) Thanks a lot.

Once I am done with my Masters thesis, I want to definitely get Memento as a standard part of the distros. That will save you a ton of support questions, so you have more time to code!
