Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Jonathan Wilkes (jancsika1) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: expr and dollarsign variable tomfoolery
Initial Comment: If a dollarsign variable like $1 exists in an abstraction (and has a float value assigned) it can be used with impugnity, such as [expr int($1)]. However, if $1 does not exist, as in a newly created patch with <ctrl-n>, [expr int($1)] will not create. As a workaround, one must appease the expr parser by offering up sacrificial spaces to pad the $1 like so: [expr int( $1 )]
