Just tried pd-0.40.3-extended-20071011-ubuntu-feisty.
When it loads, it states that:
libdir_loader: added libname to the global classpath This is deprecated behavior.
If this is the deprecated behavior. What is the official behavior? To prepend the name of the lib to the object? Like zexy/length?
Is import also deprecated?
Is the suggested way of using externals in pd-exteneded written anywhere?
Thanks
I added that message back when I had a clearer idea of what I was doing. A fog has set in, so I am going to remove that warning. :D
The idea is to have no libraries loaded by default, not even the core objects. Then for each patch, you load the libs that you need into the patch-local namespace.
