I've been compiling from CVS a lot recently. I just 'cvs up'ed and this happens now:
hans@sla:toxy > make gcc -o ../bin/tot.pd_darwin -Wall -W -Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-unused -Wno-parentheses -Wno-switch -O2 -funroll-loops -fomit-frame-pointer -DUNIX -DMACOSX -I . -I ../../../pd/src -I ../shared -bundle -bundle_loader ../../../pd/src/../bin/pd -flat_namespace tot.o ../shared/unstable/forky.o ../shared/common/loud.o ../shared/common/grow.o ../shared/common/os.o ../shared/hammer/file.o ../shared/hammer/gui.o ../shared/common/props.o ../shared/toxy/scriptlet.o gcc -o ../bin/tow.pd_darwin -Wall -W -Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-unused -Wno-parentheses -Wno-switch -O2 -funroll-loops -fomit-frame-pointer -DUNIX -DMACOSX -I . -I ../../../pd/src -I ../shared -bundle -bundle_loader ../../../pd/src/../bin/pd -flat_namespace tow.o ../shared/common/loud.o ../shared/unstable/loader.o ld: Undefined symbols: _osdir_close _osdir_next _osdir_open _osdir_setmode make: *** [../bin/tow.pd_darwin] Error 1

thanks, a fix in Makefile.objects is already committed to cvs.
Yup, that did it, thanks for the quick response. I was worried that tow and widget wouldn't make it in the next Pd-extended release.
