Oh. Just to clear something up: I'm not patching Miller's [print], I'm just replacing the [print] method by a different creator in &pd_objectmaker.
you don't need any more magic to do this in Pd-0.42: as soon as your library registers the [print] class it will override the original one.
personally i think this is ugly.
