Initial Comment: currently (0.38-2) when pd get's started from the cmd-line it immediately detaches itself from the dosbox. debugging information (verbose),... is written into the main-window "console".
this is fine, as long as you don't have patches that crash on loading, as you never know where it crashes (due to the main window being closed on crash)
using the "-stderr" flag sends the messages into nirvana.
i really love, that pd does not need the shell anymore, but it would be best to still get it back when using the "-stderr" flag.
