Category: puredata Group: bugfix Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Hans-Christoph Steiner (eighthave) Assigned to: Miller Puckette (millerpuckette) Summary: change Mac OS X Wish path search to support Tcl/Tk 8.5
Initial Comment: The current search for a Wish.app for Mac OS X that happens in s_inter.c tries to find an embedded Wish called "Pd" and then /usr/bin/wish, which is Tcl/Tk 8.4. This patch does two things: it updates the order of the paths to search and adds some other relevant ones, and then it uses a "Pd*" glob pattern so that the Wish executable can be named after the app itself, as it should be (i.e. Pd-0.42-3.app should run Pd-0.42-3.app/Contents/MacOS/Pd-0.42-3)
