Hi all,
I made some changes to graph-on-parent which should be a big improvement.
Next I want to look at the (apparently much degraded) performance of array graphing in 0.39... and if I can figure out how, do a unified graphic update scheduler for 'data' and arrays. I also have to take a look at the new collection of patches on sourceforge, and check if I/O is working as well as before (I upgraded to portaudio V19).
cheers Miller
hi miller...

well, the gop looks better now ... still, when putting an array i get a red box on the parent canvas (140x200) ... seems to be a gop box ...

well, i'm using portaudio v19 for devel, which basically works fine, although i rewrote the scheduler to get acceptable latencies (below 10ms). pablio works fine with v19 beside the fact that it has an unacceptable latency of at least 30 ms ...
but i'm not going to put any patches on the sourceforge patch tracker any more, since my changes are too severe ... and heavily depend on each other ...
cheers ... tim

I get the box, too, as in attached image, by just doing a "Put->array". The red box is fixed and cannot be moved.
Ciao
hi all,
Sorry, I always do the documentation last, but I should have said something about this...
the red rectangle is the same size as the graph on the parent window. If you place GUI objects inside it they show up on the parent... WITHOUT STETCHING. I think you'll agree it's much much better than the old way...
To change the size/location of the red rectangle, get out the properties dialog for the canvas (it's now the same dialog from the parent as from the canvas) and set "size" and "margin" parameters.
cheers Miller

well, this makes gops much more usable ... still, this rectangle shouldn't show up, if i place an array on a canvas and gop is switched off ;-)

Whoops. I'd better look at that...
thanks Miller
