i think if you send thomas a detailed bug report this will be fixed within 2 hours ...
Ben and I have talked about it on and off more than once. Its the bug that makes the crash as if Pd exited cleanly.
Could it be that a realtime linux kernel is signalling pd because it blocks (USR2)? Does it crash even when not running realtime?

No wait, that doesn't matter if you are running jack. Does it crash even when not running realtime and not running jack?
