Hi,
the paf~ object and source no longer seem to be in the 'extra' folder (pd 0.37-0 and pd 0.37-1). Is there a new location where I can find it ot has it been removed from the current distribution ?
Thanks.

IRCAM asked me to stop distributing paf~ sources, and so far I haven't had the stomach to make a binary-only release of it (which would have to be separate from the rest of Pd)...
cheers Miller

The PAF web page mentions jMax and Max/MSP, but not PD. IRCAM's devotion to music research is a facade for its commercial alliances, in this case with France Telecom (according to the US patent database). I guess you had good reasons to patent the PAF algorithm, but some PD users might have good reasons not to use a binary-only version. -- Marc

You'll be able to find sources of older Pd versions on the net. I know several popular places where to get pd 0.35 or pd 0.36, but probably you still have it on your own disk?
