Category: puredata Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Frank Barknecht (fbar) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: start index for array writing not used anymore
Initial Comment: The contents of arrays/tables in Pd can be set using list messages as described in help patch: doc/2.control.examples/16.more.arrays.pd
The current main 0.38 branch in CVS doesn't make use of the starting index anymore. Regardless of what index you choose, the array gets set starting at point 0.
This is easy to check using the second message in above help patch: [; array99 3 -0.5 0.5(
It does not set the array to "0 0 0 -0.5 0.5" but to "-0.5 0.5 0 0 0".
The same bug is valid for [table] objects.
Attached patch change seems to fix this.
