Yes, I'm thinking about that, but I confused pserver (which has an ACL in CVSROOT) and the ssh access method, which only uses UNIX perms... We weren't using pserver's ACL, I guess, because we were using SSH access.
I suspect that "svn+ssh" is completely different from CVS's ssh access, as in, no difference with using http/https, except encryption, but I don't really know.
