Hi Adam, thanks for your work! I just installed OSX yesterday and will have a first look concerning PD and flext (and into your changes) some day next week. There will be a new maintenance version of flext then.
best greetings, Thomas

Hi all.
I'm not sure if anyone else has tried to get Thomas Grill's intriguing flext to work on MacOSX. I seem to have had some success with conservative changes to the linux distribution. The make and config files (1.3 Kbytes) are packed up here:
http://homepage.mac.com/~atl/sw/
Untar into the same directory that flext (linux) makes, check that the config-pd-darwin.txt suits your system, and run ./build-pd-darwin.sh.
I'm pretty much a novice with makefiles, so I would appreciate feedback from other OSX developers to see if this worked. From the libraries that were built, I was able to get Martin Pi's transverb~ port working. I'm going to experiment some more...

PS. Anyone thought about connecting AudioUnits with PD?
