You can increase the font size which will make the boxes bigger. Also, you might like the new inlet/outlet highlighting that's in Pd- extended 0.43 and pd-l2ork. The inlets and outlets are tagged using Tk tags, so you should be able to change their size using the Tk canvas commands 'coords' or 'itemconfigure -width', etc. I've never tried tho. Their hitboxes aren't though - canvas_doclick in g_editor.c has hard- coded numbers.
Arg, yes, that's true... sigh... but I find the inlet/outlet highlighting helps a lot.

As for bugs, please do make bug reports, you can get to the bug
report form from the Help menu in Pd. I'm a little confused - I didn't mention anything about bugs.
I consider usability problems bugs. :)

For example, I think that straight cords are much more readable than bezier curved cords. As for bugs, please do make bug reports, you can get to the bug report form from the Help menu in Pd.

Hi -
I was just tinkering around with some of the graphics in puredata, before noticing that there's a GUI rewrite project underway ( http://puredata.info/dev/PdGuiRewrite ). Could someone tell me what the status of this is?
I've been tinkering around a little in the code myself,

but see that some of the things I had in mind to do are on their to-do list, and I may have some other usability suggestions as well. _______________________________________________ Pd-dev mailing list Pd-dev@iem.at http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-dev
