Log Message: checking in missing files on behalf of Miller (cleared it with him first). The files are from portmidi17nov04.zip
great ... i'm trying to remove all external sources from the cvs ... and the portmidi sources are added ...
I am just making the CVS a mirror of Miller's development environment, the portmidi and portaudio stuff was half-complete, so it makes more sense to have it complete then leave it as is. Previously, it was missing files which were used in the compilation.
I've been posting on this topic for a while now, so it shouldn't be a surprise. I just finally got around to acting on it.
i read your previous mails ... still i think, that the people, who would like to compile pd are capable of downloading one or two dependencies (if they're not the can use the binaries) and that it's far better to try to stay in sync with the upstream of these specific packages ... (see the portaudio memory leak on osx a few weeks ago)
