But this only happened when I started pd from anyplace. If I go into /usr/lib/pd-extended/bin pedro@io:~$ cd /usr/lib/pd-extended/ pedro@io:/usr/lib/pd-extended$ cd bin pedro@io:/usr/lib/pd-extended/bin$ ./pd It loads correctly. Is this you case?
oh yeah, it's the first time it runs :] i have to: $ cd /usr/lib64/pd-extended/bin and then i can do: $ ../pd
and it runs just fine. have you been able to fix your installation so that you can run from anyplace?
this strongly reminds me of a bug we fixed in debian: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=596780
