Hi Jonathan,
Hi Fred Jan, If you're on GNU/Linux, you might consider using/developing on Pd-l2ork. It ships with revised help patches for Cyclone and has fixed a lot of bugs.
These help-patches indeed look cool, making the help more in line with what you started for vanilla. I might even use those as base for the improved patches ;-).
You can clone Pd-l2ork here: https://github.com/pd-l2ork/pd
If you want to add any of your bug fixes you can just send patches, or get commit access by emailing Ivica.
It's at least something to try while waiting for a response here. :)
Currently I try not to be too impatient, as there is enough to figure out; wading through lists, forums and trackers to find bug reports, arrange test platforms, making unit-test-patches and of course the structure of the cyclone library.
But I have no problem submitting changes to Pd-l2ork too, after all, the two branches are mainly compatible; the pd-extended cyclone/hammer/counter object I am working on ran without problem with Pd-l2ork.
Best, Jonathan
Greetings,
Fred Jan
