Initial Comment: quoting the reference-patch of [route]: "Route checks the first element of a message against each of its arguments, which may be numbers or symbols (but not a mixture of the two.)"
however, creating [route 5 bla] is possible and no hints are given that this is illegal.
attached is a patch that checks the creation arguments, and if they are illegal, no object will be created (with some verbosity, so the user knows what went wrong)
