Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: puredata Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Roman Haefeli (reduzent) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Deleting abstraction in a subpatch crashes Pd
Initial Comment: Steps to reproduce the crash:
1) pd -noprefs -open crasherbug/CRASHERPATCH.pd 2) Open the [pd some_tilde_abstraction] subpatch 3) Delete the [mx-aux-send] object. --> Segfault
This happens on / with: - Ubuntu 11.04 - Pd-0.43test5
Some additional notes: - This does _not_ crash the previous release (Pd-0.43test4) - The crash can be prevented by disconnecting the signal-wires before deleting [mx-aux-send] - It seems that some abstractions inside [netpd_f] are necessary to make the crash happen.
