what happened?
IOhannes Zmoelnig forked mrpeach's net library and created iemnet which is supposed to deal with a few issues that the original net library suffered from.
I _think_ Hans is uncomfortable with the fact that it was forked straight away instead of trying to get the improvements into the original net library.
Personally, I don't have a strong opinion on the subject matter. I found iemnet's implementation to be much more reliable and that's the reason I'd like to have it in Pd-extended.

Fine by me, if you are the maintainer. I was also thinking of adding Martin's 'net' library as its own thing. And since we're on the topic, I was not happy how the iemnet fork happened, I think it was disrespectful of Martin. .hc On Sep 29, 2011, at 5:22 AM, Roman Haefeli wrote: Hi Hans & IOhannes & Martin I'd love to have the iemnet library included in Pd-extended and wanted to hear other opinions. I'd do the work, if everyone agrees.
