Initial Comment: creating an object named ~ or ~- crashes pd-extended Pd version 0.40.3-extended-20080902 Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron does not crash Pd version 0.40.2 on Feisty, nor Pd version 0.41.4 on Ubuntu Hardy.
