Summary: fix paths for Paths dialog, Help Browser, plugins, etc.
Initial Comment:
Currently, the Help Browser doesn't find libraries and pd-gui doesn't find plugins if they are installed into the new user-installed locations. That's because pd-gui assumes the 'extra' path is just pd/extra, but now there are multiple 'extra' paths. This patch fixes that bug and makes the naming clearer. In pd-gui pd_path becomes sys_searchpath just like in pd. And pd_extrapath becomes sys_staticpath in pd and pd-gui. These are then used for Paths dialog, Help Browser, plugins, etc.

Summary: empty values in iemgui offset properties causes bad behavior
Initial Comment:
>From Peter Plessas' email to pd-list (http://lists.puredata.info/pipermail/pd-list/2010-07/081103.html):

The attached patch fixes this.

Summary: fixed bug in saving Untitled/new patches
Initial Comment:
There is a bug in the new Yes/No/Cancel code that can lose changes. If a new/Untitled patch is dirty, and you close the window, the menuclose message will be sent before the _saveas dialog is done, thereby losing the changes. This patch fixes that bug, and refactors the pdtk_canvas_menuclose to fit into 0.43/gui-rewrite style.

Summary: make pdwindow.tcl swapable by adding two procs
Initial Comment:
This patch abstracts the grabbing of the cursor when Pd is busy into two procs: ::pdwindow::busygrab and ::pdwindow::busyrelease. It does not change the current functionality, but it allows pdwindow.tcl to be completely self-contained and swappable so people can more easily create and use custom Pd windows. It brings back having the whole Pd window is defined in a single file, pdwindow.tcl.

Summary: Properties panels don't open unless you click on Pd Window
Initial Comment:
• launch pd
• open any existing patch using File->open
• right-click on canvas or array and select Properties
• nothing happens except this:
‣ .pdwindow done-popup 0 206 47;
‣ error: .pdwindow: no such object
• click on Pd window, then on patch
• now click properties panel and it works
This bug exists in the HEAD of pure-data.git but not in pd-gui-rewrite/0.43. I suspect it is due to the changes in the startup procedure and things are not getting initialized properly. I'll try to take a look later today.

Message:
Ok, I fixed this. (I was wrong about the startup procedure) It turns out
that not all window managers send a FocusIn event when a new window is
created, so ::focused_window was not being set. I made the Map event also
set focused_window, which I guess all window managers will send either Map,
FocusIn, or both upon window creation, so we're covered.

Summary: Compile audio dummy across platforms
Initial Comment:
Resolves conflicts between USEAPI_DUMMY and other API settings when compiling libpd (http://gitorious.org/pdlib) for iPhone and other platforms. The patch only has an effect if USEAPI_DUMMY is defined.

Message:
This is a simple change to the USEAPI_DUMMY stuff to allow it to work on
any platform, which is needed when embedding libpd into things like
Android, iPhone, Java, Python, etc. Basically, when you use USEAPI_DUMMY,
it usurps setting the default over all other USEAPI_* statements.

Summary: netreceive: inlet to start/stop listening (in TCP mode)
Initial Comment:
In TCP mode, netreceive should one or more inlets accepting messages to make it:
- close connection with a client
- stop/start listening and accepting for connections
In UDP mode it is not so necessary to be able to stop listening, because you can use a [spigot] to ignore the incoming messages, and listening to a UDP port won't prevent another application from listening on the same port (while in TCP mode it will).
However, I'm not sure of what happens if a UDP netreceive receives a packet that is not a valid FUDI message. If this can prevent later valid packets from being processed correctly, then a way of stop/start listening is necessary.
