If your patch is in anywhere on the computer, in which any of the folders in the path has a space in it - lets say [ /Documents/patch v3/patch.pd ] - the pd~ object just won't work.
Yep, I'm in Mac Os 10.6.8

The up/down y resizing looks good. But the left/right x resizing does
quite work. For example, if you open the help browser, resize it a little
bit, then click on a folder, then the listbox frame for that folder does
not ever show up unless you resize again, which is quite confusing. The
question really is: how should the resizing behave? My guess is that when
the window is resized, it should divide the new window width by the number
of currently open listbox frames, then use that number as the width of
frames from there on out. That would mean that the frames would always fit
evenly into the window.

Hello,
trying to compile pd vanilla 0.43 on Windows 7 "ultimate" 64 bits I am
running into some trouble. I followed the developer>mingw guide from
puredata.org. Then trying ./configure using MSYS. It gives: no tcl
header found, and a few lines later: no tcl library found, then quits.
I did however compile both tcl and tk 8.5 using this guide:
http://wiki.tcl.tk/14828, inside MSYS. Adding a --with-tcl=/... to
./configure only gives the note: unrecognized option.
Any thoughts how I could overcome these difficulties? I am a bit lost here.
Bye! Menno
I just wanted to point out that the recent change to glist_delete() (commit
here<http://pure-data.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=pure-data/pure-data;a…>)
is causing crashes in libpd when closing patches. Not sure if it is
actually related, but it seems pretty similar to the bug already submitted
here<http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=478070&aid=3433140&group_i…>,
which appeared a few days after the commit that I linked to. I'll place
the backtrace here, indicating that there is a stale pointer that is being
accessed somewhere (this is on an EXC_BAD_ACCESS):

Summary: sqrt~ and rsqrt~ don't work in Pd-extended
Initial Comment:
sqrt~ and rsqrt~ don't work in Pd-extended nightly builds for OSX 10.5 i386. Tried Pd-0.43.1-extended-20111117.app and Pd-0.43.1-extended-20111125.app. In Pd-double builds of same arch and date these objects do work. Pd-double uses unions for the type punning in these classes. But it may also be a difference in compiler options.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, DISIS/L2Ork is pleased to announce yet another release of pd-l2ork. Recent fixes include:
2011-11-22
*Ability to move/resize red GOP rectangle via GUI
*Allowed GOP-enabled objects to be resized lower than what the default nlet spacing allows
*Limit GOP resizing to the size of the text (if hidetext is not enabled on GOP-ed objects)
2011-11-15
*Fixed bug where "Save As" did not always add .pd extension to the file
*Base path (for open/save dialog) is now updated when opening file from the command line to the directory of the file being opened
2011-11-13
*fixed graph-on-parent enable/disable does not activate undo/redo on the parent window (or the gop-ed patch unless it is open)
*improved verifyquit mechanism to accomodate abstractions
*fixed bug where hide text value was not properly interpreted by the canvas apply redo/undo
*fixed stray stderr tcl/tk errors
2011-11-11
*Reenabled universal copy/paste (forgot to uncomment some parts)
*Universal copy/paste also resizes the canvas as per original script
2011-10-25
*Fixed a monster segfault bug that occurred when using toggling graph-on-parent and cut in succession (usually in combination with undo/redo).
2011-10-24
*Added undo/redo for creating new objects
