As far as I am concerned, http://puredata.org/docs/faq should go straight PdFAQ. I think that it used to do that. I didn't set up the index_html page, and I don't think its very useful. I might have tried to rename PdFAQ to index_html in the past, though I don't remember.
i see. the default "home page" (aka: index.html) for wiki-pages is FrontPage. i have therefore renamed PdFaq to FrontPage and now it works as expected (editing this page will really edit this page and not create a new one called PdFaq)
eeehcellent...
one last question: since when are ".pdrc" and ".pdsettings" synonymous ?
Sounds like you know better than me, please make the change to the FAQ :)
i have tried my best (though i am not a really good FAQ-writer)
I figure that a less than optimal FAQ entry is better that none at all. If people got in the habit of copy-and-pasting their list responses to the FAQ, I think we'd eventually get much less duplicate questions. That's the dream at least...
