Hallo,
I wonder, what the current state regarding the pure-data.org DNS problems is. Does someone know new details?
Of course it would be nice to be able to point visitors of the any Pd talks at the Linux Audio Conference to the easy to remember pure-data.org domain, but I suppose, this will not be possible soon.
Ciao
Not to pester, but I am wondering what happened that would screw up the domain name that bad. If it would be any help, I have four nameservers that are partnered with two other nameservers that I host numerous domain names on. I could easily manage the DNS for pure-data.org.
I have two nameservers on a T1 (aka E1) in New York, one on "business-grade" DSL in Brooklyn, and one on "business grade" DSL in Palo Alto, CA. As for the partnered nameservers, one is in a colocation facility in San Francisco, CA, and the other in on "business grade" DSL in the Silicon Valley. So its a very reliable network. They are all in the US, but it should be fine from elsewhere, considering that pure-data.iem.at is fine for me coming from the US and its on two nameservers in Austria.
