What to do with PD homepage translation.
Should we make links to other languages ? and should they point to other sites than puredata ?
The other side is Plone could handle them, but who wants a multilingual homepage for PD ?

Hello,
I want to translate 'Pure Data' front page (http://puredata.info/) to Belorussian language, which is my mother tongue.
When I"ll be done I'm gonna send to you a link to the article. Is it ok with you, don't you mind?
Thats nice, theoretically the site can be multilanguage, but because of synchronisation of content between languages and missing translators this was deprecated.
But maybe you do a Belorussian language page within the portal and a link from the front page to this will be helpfull.

Hi Winfried,
Was a pleasure to translate this page! It's kinda fresh and related to my professional interests, so I thought - why not, if the author allows to do so.
Posted my Belorussian translation on http://www.movavi.com/opensource/puredata-be. If you don't mind can you publish a tiny link with a text
<a href="http://www.movavi.com/opensource/puredata-be">Belorussian translation</a> (provided by <a href="http://www.movavi.com/">Movavi</a>) or whatever you feel is right.
Thanks!
Hi Winfried,
If it not so difficult, can You place a small link to my translation at the top or bottom of the page, because I can not announce the blog does, except this method. Of course, if it is not difficult and is not contrary to your principles!

while i welcome everyone who wants to provide content in their language, i would rather _not_ have a webpage that is multilingual throghout. all my experience has shown that this can only work if you have a dedicated team of people who are actively maintaining the multi-lingual contain. everything else will just get the content out of sync, without anybody noticing.

Yeah, I think I agree with that. Then if someone establishes an alternate language site and seems to be really sticking with it, then we could reconsider adding a language to puredata.info.
