Hi all,
I'm trying this again. Following the discussion on the main list, I would like to have the needed privilege to edit the css styles and other stuff on puredata.info.
How can we do that?
thanks, cheers,
I think you just need to have an account on puredata.info, then we might need to make that account an admin. Basically, if you can access this, you should have access:
That said, before making changes I think you should at least describe what you intend to do. The look of the website is likely to be a bike shed issue, so I don't think we need to make a whole big process of it. But there should be some communication at least.
If you are thinking of working on the CSS/plone template for the exhibition page, then that should be much more straightforward since its only a small part of the website. That's probably a better place to start.

Hey Hans,
thanks, I tried to access but I don't have enough privileges.
I perfectly agree about discussing the changes; I could try some styles with firebug, make screenshots and post it to the list (here or the main one? not sure how many ppl are here). I can start from the exhibition page, makes it smoother to start for me too.
my profile is (I should actually change the name of the page): https://puredata.info/author/TheSAD

I think I figured it out, I assigned TheSAD to the 'Manager' role. Try logging out and back in, then going to manage page. Or to be safe, you could restart the browser.

Cool, got in. Thanks, will start look around.
I'll try and go for some innocuous trials with firebug and post the results for the exhibition page only.

My guess is that you'll have to change the plone template in order to do things like get thumbnail images to show up, but I don't really know.

Yes, I remember it's not very straight forward. Was looking into Plone documentation about a year ago or so, so will refresh my memory now.
will report ideas, etc..
