somebody has renamed the "netiquette" page to "Netiquette", which now breaks a number of links (e.g. in the reject-message of pd-list mails from non-subscribees).
no problems if you change the content, but please leave the layout intact

PS: (i have learned already this lesson ;-))
I might have done that in the process of wikifying things, sorry. The wikis in Plone have a hard time with all lower case page names. I must have forgotten to make the redirect page, I just made it:
http://puredata.org/community/lists/netiquette
That reminds me, I know in drupal, you can set alias paths to pages, so that the "Netiquette" page can also be reached by "netiquette". Is there a way to do this with Plone? It would be very useful when cleaning things up or changing things to wiki pages.

not really, you can make a WikiPage as well as a [wikipage]...
it is just that the original WikiWiki used camelcase.

Generally I think, Uppercase in URLs and paths should be avoided the same as in Pd class names.

Me too, but MoinMoin (and maybe ST) does not let you make links to pages that don't start with an upper case letter... :-/

btw, i also find it quite annoying that the page-type of netiquette has been changed to MoinMoin for no apparant reason.
I think only two persons have ever directly contributed to this page, one being me (writing stuff) and one being hans (converting the pagetype to MoinMoin)
sure it is a pain to use ST if you are used to MediaWiki. otoh, it is a pain to use MoinMoin if you are used to ST.
anyhow, don't let this trouble you...i just wanted to have my say (again)

I changed it after the discussion on this list about converting to moinmoin. Sorry if I stepped on your toes with that. I also converted /community/lists/ from HTML to MoinMoin, so it seemed natural to have those two in the same format.

i know :-) i have no problem with people chosing MoinMoin as their markup language, and even converting pages to MoinMoin if they feel that it will make editing easier for them. however, i still don't see the point in converting an arbitrary page for no reason but the sake of "consistency" throughout the site.
i never tried to convert any HTML-pages to structured text just for the sake of it ...
...
... no wait, actually i did that, and i must apologize to everyone i confused by doing so. i promise not to do that again.

well anyhow...
btw, how do you _underline_ in moinmoin? it is not like in thunderbird (which uses some structured-text like markup)

Wich reminds me: I started to convert the FAQ to a FAQ, and here I only can select plain, HTML, reST and ST as formatting options, not MoinMoin. Isn't MM supported for FAQs or is there some additional setup needed?
If not, I'd like to go with ST for the FAQ. The anwers are short, not much formatting is needed, and I'd like to avoid having to insert <p>s everywhere.

MM is only for ZWikis, and FAQs are no zwiki.
i haven't found any way to get MM into plain zope/plone.

Then never mind, I'm fine with ST or Plain for the FAQ answers. Only HTML sucks because of the <p>s.
