Hi everyone,
I just realized today that many of the mailing lists I'm subscribing to have a "Reply-to" field filled with the address of the list, which makes it really easier to reply to someone on the list without having to do "Reply all" and deleting the subscriber himself (which is what I actually have to do in Thunderbird).
Pd lists are an exception for me as far as this is concerned...
Are there any reasons for it to be so?

Yes, search the archives.
Ciao
It might also be worth you looking at mail clients that have a reply-to list feature. I know that Evolution, Mutt, and Sylpheed-Claws all have this.
