did that. Actually it isn't really a hum it's a buzz. quite annoying when
amplified (this doesn't seem to happen at home as much, though, only at a
venue). Is it possible that a soundcard (SB 128) picks up some electrical
interference from the lights/other electrical devices ? Sounded like that
anyways. And it was only on the output of the console (Mackie 1202-VLZ PRO)
with gain quite high up and not on the output from the soundcard (checked
with headphones. I'm confusing things a bit, I know... I cannot reproduce
it on my home system (Mackie connected to self powered PS 5 [Event]
monitors). If anyone has any ideas about it I'd be glad to get some hints.
