Hi,
I'm trying to install pdp. ./configure works, but chokes on libquicktime. I'm puzzled because if I try apt-get install libquicktime, it tells me that it's already installed.
The readme says to use libquicktime rather than quicktime4linux; is my "libquicktime" possibly part of quicktime4linux?
Where can I get the libquicktime that works with pdp?
Thanks.
Hi
try libquicktime.sourceforge.net

hi martin,
try this one: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=46254
(libquicktime.sourceforge.net)
better remove the debian version too. also, if you have mmx, install the jpeg-mmx dev package before you configure and build libquicktime, this will make lqt a bit faster. (and configure pdp with ./configure --enable-mmx)
