Michael Cuje.

i'm looking for a PC interface for both Linux and Win-XP. The "Presonus Inspire 1394" is connected via fireWire.
thanks for the link, the freebob firmware seems to allow modification of driver due to generic design.
Does anyone know about a Win-XP interface ?

Hi PD people,
I recently got the presonus firebox, and it works well with pd on both OSX and WinXP. I haven't tested it with linux yet, maybe pop in the dynebolic cd if I get a chance and try it out.

What do you guys make of this? I saw this graph http://mathworld.wolfram.com/images/eps-gif/CollatzSteps_900.gif and intuit some (musical) order.
Mayeb a bit of messing with the scaling might yeild something. Maybe try something musical with the actual sequences rather than the iteration plot.
Why do you suppose there are basically two streams? I dare you to find a number that doesn't converge and we'll share the beer money.
Frank, why do my sequencers only work the second time I bang them?
cheers, Andy

Because you stop them before you start them. You check for end of loop with [==] which is [== 0] and as the counter starts at 0 your sequence is done before it starts.

Cheers Frank, I messed up the order didn't I.
Here's some pretty Tokyo bleeps inspired by the film I was watching last night.

Nice patch, Andy! Really captures something common to a lot of the music on that soundtrack (which is one of my favorites) - very smart.

Yes, this is great. I was just playing around with the settings and my girlfriend was like "what's that you're listening to?" And I had to say, "Oh, it's Andy's Pd patch." Damn, I need to make something cool now!
