hi, i am experiencing problems with the pix_rgba object. it seems to shift the color fields around so that blue becomes red. yet this object is necessary precursor if you use the pix manipulator objects, what's going on can anyone help?. I have placed the pix_rgba object bellow pix_film and above pix_texture2 objects. I'm using OS X 10.2.3 on 12' Powerbook with pd 0.36 and gem 0.87
thanks tim
Quoting tim cleminson si1ver@seabassmassive.com:
pix_rgba should be completely without function on OSX. you can remove it and experience proper colors again. i'll check the code tonight and make sure the object does nothing.
i recommend upgrading to 10.2.6, using pix_texture (texture2 is vestigial) and avoiding RGB altogether. the latest GEM CVS binaries should default to the much much faster YUV. if not try sending a colorspace 0 message to pix_film or use pix_filmYUV.
