Hi all,
I've already found this topic on older mails on the list, but the problem is still not resolved : externals placed in sub-folders in /Library/Pd and ~/Library/Pd are not read. They have to be directly in the ~/Library/Pd folder but not in a sub-folder, like ~/Library/Pd/timbreID/ for example.
If I'm wrong, maybe more details have to be given here : http://puredata.info/docs/faq/how-do-i-install-externals-and-help-files

Hey Anas,
I'm guessing that the timbreID folder that you have is probably set up as a library, so you have to load the library in your patch. You can do that using either [import timbreID] or [declare -lib timbreID]. Then the library will be loaded and you can use the objects directly.
