HI all,
For Pd linux users:
I've put a tarball in http://crca.ucsd.edu/~msp/Software/ named pd-033TEST2-linux.tar.gz ... it actually sort of works with ALSA 0.9 (I've tried it with soundblaster live and midiman delta 66.) the command line for the delta 66 is:
pd -alsadev hw:1,0 -outchannels 10 -inchannels 12 -blocksize 64 -frags 15
and for soundblaster just
pd -alsa
(assuming you've got the SB as your first ALSA device and the Midiman as the second one.)
I've stopped putting compiled executables in the tarballs... I just can't figure out how to get a binary that runs on arbitrary linux distributions.
If you aren't trying to use ALSA 0.9 you oprobably won't have any need to update your copy of Pd. cheers Miller
