hi,
Now I know this is really embarassing, but I just installed debian ppc on a powerbook pismo (german kbd layout) everything including pd works just fine (AFAICT) but the '~' character would be really useful to have on the keyboard (copying dsp objects all the time is just not the same ...)
thx

who just can't believe that getting a tilde in debian ppc unstable involves handediting the keymaps ...
not exactly the same situation, but a friend of mine just spent a while searching for the tilde in suse ppc, and his was mapped to SHIFT + <>
maybe it's the same for you.
