Hello !
I've discovered puredata a few weeks ago, i mainly use midi. I run pd on Debian Sid and use jack. I've been trying to record midi with rosegarden or muse. Unfortunately, rosegarden constantly crashes after a recording. Moreover, everytime i try to use xeq or xeq_record my system freezes. So i was wondering what do people running pd on linux use to record midi events.
Thanks

these are obsolete -- try seq from cyclone instead (although system should not freeze anyway, so it looks like there is something wrong elsewhere).

If you only want to record midi, there's a simple command line utility: http://people.jyu.fi/~tuma/home/progs.php
And other sequencers, like: http://muse.serverkommune.de/
