Hello everyone,
PD vanilla (0.46-7 and 0.47-1) shows a strange behaviour on my machine (OSX 10.9.5) and only since some weeks.
Especially after the use of DSP I can only quit PD by force, and yet it leaves pd threads running, although the frontmost application has quit.
This error could be related to subpatches still running and/or abstractiosn being used and running or not, but i couldn’t finally verify this.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thank you very much in advance.

have you tried [; pd quit(?
and yet it leaves pd threads running, although the frontmost application has quit.
which threads?
this sounds a bit like a problem with some externals you are using. also, which audio API are you using? jack?

It could be possible that you have started something with [shell] that needs to be terminated before quitting Pd.
