Does anyone have any good patches they have created for doing mastering type stuff like compression and EQ balancing etc? I want to master a piece to go on a compilation CD - it was recorded live so i need to tweak it a bit. Any suggestions appreciated.

Chris. _________________________________ chris@mccormick.cx http://www.mccormick.cx http://www.sciencegirlrecords.com

I would do this in a soundfile editor, but attached is a simple patch (linux only) that shows, how one could use Steve Harris multiband-EQ LADSPA-plugin (plugin.org.uk) for this. I sometimes use this one.
You could also use his Dyson compressor.

Groovy, looks great. I'll check out the Dyson compressor too. Thanks Frank.
