@jack:
thank you, that's almost the solution, but I get '\,' from makefilename. (same problem is with '\{' )
and it's not possible with "stripfilename" to remove the "\". is there a solution?
@olivier: thanks, but i am working on win xp..

Hello,
Not sure there is a way to remove \ in front of comma with [add( and [textfile] What are you trying to do exactly ? If you want to avoid \, you can create a text file with : hello, world inside. Then you can load it with the message 'read' and the object [textfile], you shoukld get a nice 'hello, world'. Or, as OIivier said, you can use a bash script to create this text file on the fly and load it with [textfile]. You can also use ascii code for this problem... So, if you have a simple example of what you need, maybe it would be much easy to find a solution. ++

There is this patch : http://codelab.fr/attachment.php?item=856 From this conversation (in french) : http://codelab.fr/3084
The aim is to dynamically create :
[expr if($f1<0,1-$f1, $f1)]
and
[expr $f1;$f2]
As there are ',' and ';' maybe it will helps you...
Cheers...
