Dear list,
I'm trying to open png files with [pix_image] and [pix_multiimage] in Windows 10, but I get errors like [pix_image]: failed to load image 'C:/Users/compo/Documents/Pd/_Sketches/face/vowel1.png'.
I saw someone with a similar problem two years ago on the list, and the only reply he/she got was someone saying that it worked for them.
Does anyone know what might be wrong? Do you know of a good workaround, another transparent image type that these object can handle?
Sam
when you start pd gem gives some info on which image types are supported.
on windows 10 i had a lot of problems because of a missing dll (msvcr??).
one solution is to use malinette,
http://reso-nance.org/public/pd-malinette/test05/
to test,
for me it worked, but i think there are other solutions
